You can actually get free stuff from the internet, that's how I got my DS 8)
This site http://www.free-gifts.cjb.net has loadsa links to sites where you can get free consoles.
All you have to do is sign up, do one of the offers (find one that is free) then refer some friends.
The hard bit is refering friends cos it usually takes a while but I managed to get a DS in about a month.
I'm trying to get a Wii now :D
