I only know of 2 artists from france AIR and Jean Michel Jarre I totally love his music, well...older material anyway From Oxygene to Metamorphoses...not really keen on his Teo & Tea album which kinda felt like he was betraying his roots Geometry of Love, Sessions 2000 and Aero were ok, but his older stuff was way more distinctive

French Rap = Mega Fail

Michaël Youn (who makes fun of rappers) = win

I thought the only black metal bands that were worth listening to were from norway, finalnd, and the US - I am not even a fan of the genre and I know that no french band was even half-way decent
