I can read most french but at the moment can't speak it. Living in another country where I have to use their language all the time (Chinese) creates the worst language interference ever. So I can read it but speaking has gone out the window.

French Grammar is very very complex
I can handle sentence structure well since we speak it at home but I can't spell. I never know if I need an e, e with the / or \, or e with the ^... WTF??? And that's just one letter. English makes more sense and spanish is more fun :P I only use french to turn my girlfriend on (EDIT: That was supposed to sound sexual, not make it sound like my gf is a robot).
So there you go, just about everyone can. :? You guys may want to tone it down a little though, posts containing only a non-English language aren't tolerated by the mods.
Je ne suis canadien ni francais. Je suis americain! Cela fait trois ans que j'apprends le francais au lycee mais la plupart de ma comprehension vient d'ecouter la radio quebecoise et de visiter des sites Internet francais. Y a-t-il des autres francophones autodidactes ici? Veuillez excuser la manque d'accents.
