Friend Owes me $300, ways to get it back?

its been 4 months since I loaned my friend $300 so he could make rent, I am not unemployed, I really need the money, and he is making no attempt to pay me back

everytime I ask he just doesnt have it

he is driving a 2005 mustang :| and just bought the halo 3 legendary version (or had it preordered or something) anyway he definately has it

any suggestions?

Ok all kidding aside. Go to the police station, and call your friend from there. Tell him your in jail and need $300 for bail cause you got arrested for something that you might actually do (like wreckless driving, or pot). Tell him he'll get the money back on the court date if he doesn't understand how bail works. Unless the guy is a total douche he'll show up w/ the cash. When he does you just say thanks for showing up w/ the 300 you owe me.

It's like the old saying goes..."if you loan a friend $300 and then you never see him again, it was probably worth it."

So basically, here's my advice: forget about te money, and tell him to get out of your life forever.

THAT, is the most amazing thing I've heard all day.

If you do something that will cost him more money, it will be even longer to get your money. Just write him off until he pays you back. Blow him off (not literally :P) until he pays you back, and whenever he does ask you for something ask him for the money, and hang up on him if he doesn't have it. Pretty much you are screwed.

For all the people saying attack the car... heres a question... what has the car done?

If this person won't pay the money back then cut the relationship because he obviously isn't a good friend...
