friends not inviting you to events?

i mean wtf, sometimes it feels like i don't have any friends. i have a friend who invited me to her bday today at her house, but she didnt tell me ANYTHING about the karaoke before hand, i mean wtf......and everyone else that was invited didn't even say a word about it

you get this sometimes or what?

every since my 3 best freinds got girlfreinds, they have been spending less time with me, i call them asking if they want to hang out or do something, and just say "they are to busy"

Yea, i have the weird situation of being friends with lots of people, being well liked by then, and theyre always happy to see me...

...but I am never on their mind, so I dont get actively invited to whatever theyre doing. I have to be like "So what are you doing this weekend?"

The only events that I get invited to by most of my "friends" are birthdays. And even then, they tell me the day of or before.

not a lot of the time, but sometimes I do feel left out of certain events.

Yeah, I've never been all that social, usually just hanging out with my main few friends. The other day go hang out with some people I usually don't and ask me why I never hung out with them. They seemed oblivious to the fact that they never asked me to hang out with them before.

ehh not really my friends tell me about them i just sometimes choose not to go either cause i had been partying the niht before or i am busy. Although I do sometimes not tell my friends about parties cause they either don't drink or are not into that i guess.. :(

There have been times like that, it really annoys me when they talk about it.

I haven't been invited to a few parties or events lately. I knew it was going to happen and I don't really mind. Everytime, I'm invited to something I never go so it was a matter of time before people gave up. I socialise much these days.

YES i do, since im in the other class room i felt left out of everything, not the movies, inviting me to there houses, im pretty much lonly at school and in my house these days

Anyway. I do feel left out sometimes, but it doesn't matter because I hate most of my friends.:D

Well, I dont have many friends, but the ones I do have include me in plenty of activities.

I dont get that with my friends, well.... not since junior school anyway.

It's happened before, but it happens very rarely these days... I'm usually one of the first to know when someone's planning something.

Yeah, I've had that happen a lot. Back in freshman year of college I had a bunch of people who I thought were my friends but I after the year was half over I noticed that they kept trying to avoid me. For example, not telling me of a party and then when I found out about it claiming it was "invite only" and that I "wouldn't know anyone there anyway". Turns out of course that it was not invite only and that I did, in fact, know every single person who was there. I've got more stories like that as well, but suffice it to say I stopped hanging around with them when I got the chance.

Also, most recently I tried to get an apartment with two good friends. Both backed out at the last possible second (we had the paperwork in front of us and everything) for different reasons. Now one of them calls me today to tell me that they got an apartment (I was never told they had resumed the search) in an attempt to clear away any "possible misunderstandings". I don't know what to make of that honestly.

They just give up on me tbh :P i use to get invited to most things.. but i rarely actually ended up going so now they just don't bother. I am actually quite glad thoe :) I know it sounds sad, but all they seem to do is drink..now I don't mind going out now and then for a few drinks, but when every thing like going to sit in the park, cinema etc. involves taking drink and drugs before hand it gets quite sad and i can't be arsed with it anymore.

nope.... my house is huge and i have an almost olympic swimming pool, a jacuzzi and a 72 inch tv, so i've actually had about a third of my friends ask to have their birthdays at my house... and my friend trevor throws a party at my house just about every week-end lol. he just walks by on monday and asks if he can throw a party, then theres like 40 people there on saturday. really awesome actually.

IF you sit around waiting for people to invite you.. then it's your own fault. People don't function that way.. if you want to be apart of something you have to include yourself. And if people don't want you some place.. you shouldn't want to be there to begin with. I'm so tired of people whining that other people never include them or invite them to participate.

You know... you can always have your own parties and include other people. Since everybody is convinced everyone always forgets about them. But, no, instead you complain. Instead of being part of the solution and creating a place for other unincluded people to be apart of you just complain that people don't cater to your personal desire to fit in.

I don't really remember a time this has happened to me so I can't say that I know what it feels like :P.

My friends always invite me to stuff, the only problem is they always invite me like the day before it happens...

It's usually the opposite to me. I use to turn down invitationsa lot so some of them don't even bother inviting me at times and I understand why lol.

Happens to me quite often...though I don't mind. The times I am invited, I try to come up with some sort of excuse to not go.ff7fan2

I don't really mind not being invited to events. I don't drink or like partying so I guess it's ok if people would rather go without me.
