Visually and in terms of direction, Space Odyssey, Blade Runner and Clockwork Orange are 3 masterpieces, don't get much better.

You are the only person I have seen mention this movie. It is one of my favorites and the soundtrack is awesome! Another one of my all time favorites also happens to star Guy Pearce and has a killer soundtrack is The Proposition. Have you seen it?

The thing that drew me to this movie is Robert Carlyle, who I like. And when I watched it I thought it was one of the most original movies where they were able to have a "dark" movie that took place mostly during the daylight. They didn't rely on the nightime or dark areas too much to have a sense of scariness. As for the proposition, I have not seen it. But I looked it up and I'll have to try and find it. Add it to netflix queue if all else fails.

I'll admit the music caught me off guard at first, I was like "what is this?". But I came to like it and thought it made the movie unique especially Boyds Journey.
