Fruits are more preferable if I am on a budget. But both are essential to eating healthy, so I eat both :)the_ChEeSe_mAn2as is meat and grain
This is assuming that fruits are the sweet dessert-type, and not the ones like the tomato which is technically a fruit.
Fruits, of course. Veggies? Yuk! Actually, I can tolerate eating vegetables if it's part of a dish. An example would be sprinkling chopped onions and tomatoes, fried garlic bits, and a bit of soy sauce on a big bowl of fried rice. Salads I like too.
But fruits I like to snack on. It's probably why I'm not gaining much weight. I can wipe out a bag of sweet, seedless tangerines in no time especially on a hot day. Cherries I like too. I'd buy more if they weren't US $6/lb. But a bag of lettuce salad? It takes me a week to finish off that little bag. Even then, the lettuce would sometimes spoil before I finished it.
Some like broccoli I can be forced to eat at gunpoint. Others like squash, I absolutely refuse to eat unless people want to see the rest of my lunch barfed up.

Wasn't it grapes becuase it can make wine. Or was it just wine was the drink of the gods. Maybe I just need a beer.

If the genus is any indication: fruit of the gods. But I read something about grapes and apples too, so whatever.
definitely fruits, I'll always get some in every day. Vegetables I'm less crazy about, but I'd try to get them in at least one meal a day.
it's just a shame that all my healthy eating is out-balanced by the drinking.
