Well, there are three seasons. The original Full Metal Panic! comes first, of course. Fumoffu is the second season, but it doesn't continue the story. Rather, it's somewhat of a spinoff that's a romantic comedy and doesn't advance the plot at all. The Second Raid continues the plot, and is much darker, grittier, and far, far more violent.
