Metropolis fans can watch it tonight on TCM a week before the DVD/Blu Ray release! I've only seen the edited version, so I'm very interested in watching the unedited version tonight. Any fans of Metropolis in OT? If you're not a fan, but want to see a cIassic, then I suggest you check it out tonight.

i saw the unedited, restored version at a theatre last month, with a live organist. It was a lot longer than I expected, but i did enjoy it. Was the first silent movie that I went to, and was surprised with the acting (Or, a bit of overacting, but that's expected when there is no text to voice. Need to show emotions of the characters in body language.) I may check it out just to see if the music is any different, but I am not gonna watch the whole thing.

It was released in theatres across the country not long ago but I never got around to seeing it unfortunately. Would love to see it at some point though.
