Funniest movie of 2008 so far?

There haven't been tons, but there are a few gems.

1. Burn After Reading

2. In Bruges

3. Pineapple Express

4. Trophic Thunder

Pineapple express was surprisingly funny, much funnier than I expected. I don't usually like stoner humor, but that line where James Franco looks up at the night sky in the forest and mutters "Space" for no apparent reason really cracked me up. Burn After Reading was the funniest by far though, such a great cast.

Trophic thunder was good, but Robert Downey Jr. stole the show. Jack Black wasnt that funny and Ben Stiller was...Ben Stiller. Tom Cruise has a great role in the film though.

I thought the new harold and kumar wasnt as good as the last one, it went for gross out humor and offensive jokes too much instead of the weird and randomness of the first. Still I liked it, but for different rreasons,

I was going to see step brothers, but I chose not to since I am getting tired of will ferrell. Is step brothers more of the same in terms of his kind of movies?

Only supposedly funny movie I've seen this year was Tropic Thunder, and it wasn't funny. Still don't understand why people think Tom Cruise ranting like an epileptic 12 year old was funny.

However, I hired out Super Troopers the other day, so I'll let that win.

Tropic Thunder is the only "comedy" I've seen this year. I liked it even though it could have been a lot better. I'm hoping "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" will be worth seeing. CommanderShiro

Pineapple express, that fight scene in that Dealers house, felt so painful and it was pure hilarity.
