Have you ever used/had a futon?

do you like them?

-

me,i love them, so comfy. up until i moved to the basement, i was sleepng on a futon matress on the floor in my room. we had a trendle bed that could be made into a queen bed, but i preferred the futon matress. my parents ddnt understand. it was so fvcking comfortable

now that im in the basement we have a futon wth an even comfier matress. i personlly love futons. they can go from being a nice comfy couch to a nice comfy bed, just like that. i like the versatility of it.

my futon looks similar to this. frame is about the same, just a different futon matress:

whats your opinions on futons? do you think they are awesome and comfy as hell like i do?

I read croutons. I came into this thread expecting to see lightly seasoned toasted bread crumbs. Instead, I get a picture of a piece of furniture that can't make up its mind whether it's a bed or a couch. I am disappointed. *leaves thread*

I love the idea of them, especially for dorms or apartments, but most of the ones that I've used have had rather uncomfortable cushions which makes me think that there aren't better ones out there.

I've slept on one at my friend's house one too many times. It's alright for lounging, but I've never gotten a good night's sleep on one.

ive gotten some amazing sleep on mine. they seem to hold there shape well. on my bed before i used futon the futon matress, i slept in the middle and eventually the matress kinda gave way in the middle from constantly being laid on in the middle.

havent had that problem wth a futon matress.

It's outta the way from all the big footed walkers, running around stomping on things.

I love ours. The arms and back fold down at any angle you want and it's got a really thick and comfy cushion. My wife and I have spent many a night snuggled up on it watching scary movies.

The concept is fine, however any futons I have had were possessed by demons and everytime I tried to used them they always tried to removed my fingers.
