I am really enjoying it.
I just hope they go past the wall soon. I want to see what is on the other side.

The first episode took place beyond the wall.
If you're talking about the part where they take 300 brothers past the Wall, you won't be seeing that til A Clash of Kings and A Storm of Swords.
love it, best show after battlestar and band of brothers for me.
BlackDevil99
as most as good as Battlestar 0_0
Now I have to see it
I think, art direction wise, they needed a way to help new viewers differentiate between areas, families, etc. I'm not a fan of the kingsguard armor(and especially the helmet). I'm not big on how each area has its own colour tone. But hey, it's kinda minimal in the end.A little disappointed with the art direction, but so far the show is awesome.

King's Landing is just not what I pictured from the books.
I also hate the armor.
Like last episode when Loras was jousting against The Mountain, I HATED his helm. Clegane actually wore a helm that a jouster would wear, Loras didn't. You could see the skin of his throat exposed, and the visor was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Whoever is doing the armor design in this show needs to be fired.
Yeah, some of the armor was definitely a bit iffy to say the least. It's also concerning that the folk up on the wall don't wear hats, despite the freezing temperatures.Awesome, awesome show. It has the perfect amount of fantasy (minimal as of yet), taking a backseat to the politics of the world, which I love. It's definitely a slow burn, and they do things that I don't like, but overall I'm hooked.
(It's also way better than Camelot. Joseph Fiennes and Eva Green are fantastic, but the rest of the show doesn't hold up.)
End of episode 6... knew it was coming, but...... ouch.
This is one of the best TV shows ever, and I can't wait until the new book comes out this summer.
I'm enjoying it quite a bit. It's not as good as the book but that's to be expected I suppose.
Really? Every episode I've seen has been mind numbingly dull.I'm thinking Camelot is better.
Artekus
Not to me.
Pretty good so far but doesn't come close to the books. Also dislike them putting in 2-3 random awkward sex scenes in each episode that weren't in the books, that one with loras shaving renlys chest ewwwww.SirDigby84Yes, it could do without the (put in for increase in ratings from the male 18-30 demographic) sex scenes. Although the acting and character development has been very well done. Hopefully after the characters and political environments have been properly developed the show will speed up a bit. Could use some more action and I'd like to see more of the world as well. So far though it's a good show.

It's been decent. A little slow at times. Some characters are cast very well, others are so-so. Looking forward to the next few episodes because I believe this is where the fun starts.
It's sooooooo slooooooow. I only have to wait a couple weeks till True Blood and Breaking Bad continue so i'm booked up for series as it is anyway.FrostyPhantasmI'm glad others agree how SLOW Game of Thrones is. It has amazing production value and the story is great, but its just slow has all hell. It's like a fantasy soap opera with swords. I think many of us were expecting a lot of hacking and slashing and cool monsters getting killed...but we got none of that so far. :(
