I wish I could watch it, but I don't have HBO. I plan to buy the DVD set as soon as it releases. The book series that it is based off of, A Song of Ice and Fire, is one of my favorites. Oh, and if it stays true to the books, it will only get better as it goes along.
If you have read the books you would appreciate that some of the details haven't been left out. Great mini-series and there will be season 2 coming out next year which is based on book 2(obviously :)). Between this and the Boardwalk Empire my time has been limited greatly! The series will start to get interesting especially if you've seen episode 17 from hbo go.

It still doesn't top BSG for me...The lack of action is a little bit annoying. They build up to these huge conflicts and then end the episode right as the conflict begins.

You could wait until it shows up on Netflix or get the DVD.
I started watching Lost when it came on Netflix, and I was still mildly bothered by the cliffhangers at the end of every episode. :P
