I applied once. Manager there wouldn't hire me after he found out I wanted to go into the military after high school (I was just looking for a summer job).
im the assistant manager over my store.. so i do work 40+ hours.. but i make real good money... i havent lost any interest in games, just the time to play them.. thats why i got my psp! :D

I would never like to work at Gamestop...They make you stalk the customers shoving Gameinformer suscriptions down their throat. And Gamestop people are so freaking sexist to me...They recommended me "Hannah Montana"... I went up to the counter and slammed down Battlefield 2 and just glared at them.

My ex worked at GameStop and while it was cool that she could take any used game she wanted for a week, the stories she told me about the customers made me glad I didn't work there.

You were discriminated against. HAHAHA. How does the real world feel? Don't share too much personal infromation, you are not obligated to. Just tell them what they want to hear.
Someone made a fake add for a Battletoads discount and now everyone making a big deal of it. Calling up asking for dumb **** never bothered me. "Thank you for calling so and so may I Halp you? No, thanks for calling so and so have a nice day."
Calling gamestop or going into the gamestop is asking for that is like asking them if they carry dog food. "No, how else may I help you."
I would just put them on hold. Then if they are the phone and wait about10 minutes then pick up the phone and say "No, How else may I help you." Make them waist their time.
