awhile ago when the change first happened I guess (to the bar up top) I noticed a "FAQ" tab and clicked on it, it took me to some hybrid gamefaqs gamespot page, IDK it wasnt up long though

so gamefaqs is being merged?

anyone else see this?

The FAQs were always hosted on GameFAQs, the links always lead there. But recently they implemented a header and footer saying the author and whatnot, but the sites are not being merged any further. EDIT: At least, I'm assuming that's what you meant.

no I mean gamefaqs not existing anywhere but here, Gamefaqs being turned into a FAQ section on GS with all their forums being moved here

I go to gamefaqs and I find that it's a simpler, cleaner and overall much easier to use site. Gamespot is like MSN, so bugged up, slow and comes with tediously unneccessary features.

People from Gamefaqs tend to be pretty condescending towards GS members at times... I don't quite get it. I used to be a user there a few years ago but I signed up for an account here and haven't looked back.
