I'm really into dreams... I used to write them down and share them w/friends, I ask my friends daily if they dreamed interesting dreams today at all.
I'm more interested in hearing the weird, intense, surreal, almost realistic or just plain fu*kin odd/funny ones hahaha.:P
SOOO---tell me a dream you guys have had...but specifically where you experienced it with a game like thing going on. Whether it be with an actual game character...(lets keep this clean boys) or just the fact your playing it in that game against so-and-so....in that world. If you have details...that'd be nice.
I'm interested. And want to hear them and comment on them! :lol: It'd be nice to bold out the game or character you had the dream in or with...like did anyone ever dream about Mario? Haha!

Ah yes, LEGEND OF ZELDA: OCARINA OF TIME! This one is just odd...and the only one I can think of at the moment. More will come. I dreamed of waking up...walking to my tv, turning on the game and playing it! Haha, but the view was in 3rd person...at first. I was watching myself play. (In real life mind you, I actually played this game two days in a row before dreaming this) So indeed, this was cool, getting to play this a "third" time. :)
Things got interesting when my 3rd person view began to zoom towards the screen...and heheh the 1st person view began!!! I was watching Kid Link run from that boulder... the first one you encounter in Kokori Village, the volume level in my dream was pretty loud. I felt total control over Link, but I'm experience this first person view and loving it!!!:lol:
That was it...simple and odd. Never quite experienced something like this again. I noticed if I did anything right before falling asleep, it always seemed to stick in my dreams....
Weird freaking dream. Only video game related dream i have ever had. It was when the first Kingdom Hearts came out. I was dreaming I was sora and I found a genies lamp (Alladins world) and i was making wishes and then everything turned sexual 8)

I've had dreams about characters in Brawl, too many to list, really. I've also had dreams of a 3D Mario and Luigi RPG for Wii. It was only a trailer, though. It felt real enough, and happened around E3, which coincided with my 2nd completion of Mario and Luigi for GBA.
They're usually pretty strange. I don't remember any of them well enough to describe them, but I usually spend a lot of the day thinking about how strange my dream was the night before.

But I did have a videogame dream a while back! The weird thing is, it was a recurring dream! I had the same dream multiple times!
But yeah basically I was in the level "Halo" in the game "Halo." At different points in the game (specifically the second level "Halo"), you'd be inside a gigantic indoor facility but the odd thing was that there were these huge chasms in the floor that were only visible for about 100 feet, then all you could see was this white mist. So basically I was in that weird underground room and saw all the mist and stuff so i just ran really fast and jumped off the platform into the mist and just kept falling...
It felt really cool though! I think my brain got the idea from watching Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon lulz xD
i had a dream where i was stuck inside a fps WW11 game where all my classmates from Junior school were there as my squad. In the end, the only survivors were me and my junior school crush. Of course, i probably had this dream cause i just finished watching a .Hack//Signs marathon

You outta try leaving a pen and paper by your bed...so when you wake up-you can write something down...keywords or something that can kick your memory in gear! They say you always dream...an average of 4-5 dreams but sometimes that "memory" part of your brain isn't on, thats why we forget....write it down next time!!

Wow...sounds like a really cool dream. I love actually FEELING the realistic events or actions...which reminds me ...I did have one dream where I was bitten by a vampire...specifically Angel from the Buffy series....but I'll post that in here even though it wasn't game related...
Most of my dreams involve events that could have happened in my waking world. Very rarely do I have dreams that deal with things like flying, jumping super-high or video games (very rarely anymore). It is usually just a manifestation of something that could possibly have happened in my daily routine, nothing special (unfortunately), just ho-hum activities like working, driving or talking with friends. Sometimes there are more interesting "plots" that play out like a "movie" but those are quite rare.
I hope that with time, I can teach myself to lucid dream so I can make things more interesting and perhaps do something productive while I sleep.

With time? Maybe if...you read a vividly descriptive book...or play a video game for hours-who knows? That'll probably stick in your sleep and make it very interesting...I have yet to have a dream about Dragons...I always wanted to dream about that....I used to just THINK about something, and it'd continue as a dream as I fell asleep....so thinking about something and visualizing it, try that!

To understand my (crazy) dream you have to understand the game. My entire vision was the map view and I was controling the troops just as one would if they were playing the game only there was no person playing the game. The game was reality and I was God or something. I had no control over the dream and woke up quite confused.

For some people it comes naturally, for others, like me, it takes lots of work. I'm still trying to remember my dreams more constantly, controlling them is going to involve a little bit more work.
Well I said I'd post an example of one of my dreams that actually had me feel like it was so real...

But yeah, actor David Boreanaz or Angel was in my dream...and for those who do NOT know, he is a vampire on the series tv show.
Anyway, the dream starts off where I'm walking along the beach toward this small little house. It's nighttime and it's pretty lit up, there are people inside and the door's open welcoming anyone in. Of course, I'm walking casually into this two level beach house but I quickly realize....everyone in there is a vampire.
Everyone looks at me like I'm meat. Eyes glistening and some people grin and fangs are gleaming. I ignore them, I feel pretty determined to find this guy Angel. And walk up towards the staircase to get to the 2nd floor.
And there he is. Angel.
I can't remember 100% but the basic conversation was me demanding Angel, "I want to be like you guys!" One of the vampires. When Angel heard this, he quickly charged at me and picked me up by my throat yelling at me, "You want to become one of us?! Damned to live a life feeding on others?!?!" (guess he didn't like my idea haha) And he threw me across the room, slamming me against the wall, making the closet drawer nearby shift forward, wrenching me between the wall and closet.
Angel got in my face as I was limp against the wall and dresser...but he asked me once again, "Are you sure you want to be like us?" But before I could even answer, he bared his fangs and sunk them into my neck!:cry:
This is where things felt amazingly real....probably too real. I felt the draining of my energy go slowly...the pain from the bite itself slowly numbed away as the room started fading black...then I woke up. Crazy timing huh?!?!
When I woke up, I was trying my best to go back to bed, I wanted to get even w/Angel for turning me into a creature of the night w/out hearing my answer first! ....I know I dreamed of Angel because that day before the dream, one of my girlfriends was telling me the whole storyline to Buffy, and told me her obsession to David Boreanaz...she even showed me some fanfiction. Boy was she jealous when she heard my dream the next day...hahahaha. The feeling though...so real!!!

Ever try writing them down as soon as you wake up? Nowadays, they say brain foods, like Almonds or drinking Cranberry juice can help boost memory...maybe you outta start chuggin those down haha

Last night I had a dream where I was playing Halo 3 in a juggernaut gametype. But the juggernaut had no weapon but could interact with and flip off of all types of objects, like in Strangehold. I don't know, it was weird. Two night before that I had a dream I was playing CoD4 but there was some guy flying around in a banshee. It pissed me off.
But lately I've been recording my dreams because I am attempting to have some pretty wicked lucid dreams. I've had them previously but not on purpose.

YUCK!!! Gosh, 3 outta 5 nights of work dreams?! Are you in need of money at the moment or something? Thats what happened to me when I dreamed about work, I was working at least 5 days a week, good thing I'm not doing that job anymore...it wasn't worth it.
Hehe, if you do have a lucid dream and blow the place up-GO YOU! When I was in my dream dealing with a huge line of customers, I totally got stressed out and told my boss I wanted to leave...but the line kept growing and growing. Gosh I woke up all like "WOOORK!! :cry:UGH!"....not a cool feeling to dream about work and wake up to work...

My mind USED to send me into cool dreams. Back when I was an adolescent vying to sexually ravage anything that moved. Now I just dream about stuff in daily life. Dreams are just a non-physical manifestation based of our brain's interpretation of reality. It is all a matter of tapping into the subconscious mind and controlling it like the conscious mind. Shouldn't be too hard.
