gamespot alternative?

I am thinking of canceling my gamespot subscription and moving on to a different site. Suggestions?

This problem is probally happening all over, not just gamespot.They are sites that aren't profit oriented as gamespot but u wont't get exclusive content like u do here.

I checked out a rather nice-looking site called Gamer 2.0 today. The site looks new and the community is small, but it looks promising.

What's ironic is that they only have news feed right now instead of their own news articles, and the first feed is Gamespot. LOL.

Gamepro, Game Informer, and 1up are the real video game sites/magazines that have been around for ages.

I don't post much, but for years, probably since 2001, if i was going to read a review it was Gamespot's, it stayed on top of my list for so long.

But now my list for sites I trust based on their integrity looks like this:

1.- Small but honest sites like Gamer 2.0.

2.- Big corporate sites, except Gamespot.

3.- Fanboy and/or company owned platform specific sites like Play Magazine (Lair 9.0? LOL)

4.- Gamespy.

5.- Teenage mouth foaming fanboy reviewers posting on message boards who think Halo/FF/other is the best FPS/RPG/other ever but have hardly ever played any other FPS/RPG/other.

6.- Gamespot.

there is no point in leaving yes go else where for reviews i dont mind people saying that

but leaving gs is dumb it has the best community and leaving in "protest" is stupid because it does not make a difference what makes a difference is staying and trying to make change

and cancelling your paid a account will make much more of a difference
