Gamespot just ruined my appetite.

So, I'm sitting here eating some chicken parmesan, browsing the Off Topic page, when I see an advertisement at the top. As I take another bite, the ad says "Every 7 seconds a child dies of hunger."

Jeez, Gamespot. Jeez. Has something like this ever happened to you? It doesn't have to be that specific ad or anything, just something related.

lol, i will be sitting on my couch, eating any food, and a guy will have to be forced to eat his own crap, or something else really discusting, and i will just continue eating.

Well I have a story for you.

One day my friend and I was bored and had nothing to do, so my friend just 'decided' to go make some popcorn. when he gets back he says to me, "Hey I gotta show you this hilarious video", and so guess what he turns on, 2 girls 1 cup...while I was enjoying my popcorn... That was the first time I had ever saw it... and the rest was history, xD

I would've been like, "thank god that starving person isn't me". Then I would've continued eating my chicken and cheese.

Really, what's the problem. It might be different if the starving african kid could actually SEE you eating chicken while he's starving. But he can't. And it's not like you can put your chicken through the TV screen and then have the starving kid take it from your hands. You'd might as well just eat your chicken. Because the starving kid isn't gonna eat your chicken no matter what you do. But meanwhile, while you're sitting at home watching starving kids on TV, there's absolutely no point letting perfectly good chicken go to waste.
