wow everytime i post something, the next day i come on and there is a message from gamespot saying i did something wrong, these forums are too strict, i got penalized a point loss because i comented "WOW WTF" lol like i really care about my rank ha lmao
That would be considered spam, since it doesn't add anything to the discussion. Go read the ToU, if you think it's too strict, you're welcome to leave. :) Also; since it's in all caps, it would also be considered disruptive.
If you don't like the rules of the house (which you should read for your own benefit of knowing), then don't party in that house.
PS. When all you write is "WOW WTF", it is considered spamming and disruptive since a) You're not adding anything to the conversation b) You're writing in all CAPS which makes it out that you're yelling. Unless you mention that you're purposely writing in all caps, then it can be a pain to read.
So, read the TOU when it comes to posting etiquette, and if you don't agree to them rules, then you are not obligated to stay here.
Gamespot's strictness is what makes it such a strong community. If you don't understand why you are being moderated, go to the "Ask the Mods" board and inquire respectfully about what you don't understand.
Yeah, I use to get angry about those, now I find them funny. With the REALLY ridiculous ones I love going to Ask The Mods and getting the lamest excuse possible. Makes me smile.
If you don't like the GS community, why are you still here? I get some pretty questionable moderations, but whatever. I don't see why its such a big deal if you get modded, you don't have to make a thread whining about being punished for not following guidelines as if you're 12 years old.

Maybe grammAr, not spelling. But quite honestly, arguing over grammar, spelling, punctuation and the like is pretty lame. Try to be more mature than fixing your spelling, it'll help more. Read the rules and if you can't follow them, then feel free to leave. I'm not a fan of the rules, but I don't call the entire site idiots.
