Gas here in our local area took a jump from 3:99 per gallon to 4:30 a gallon tuesday. The excuses are same refinery issues. I would like so much to get even with the gas companies but I do not know how.Are local area is the highest in the nation higher than Hawaii .. Bottom line is you have two choices dont buy the gas how do you pick that option or buy the gas and deal with it. The gas companies know this and this is how they get away with this. I personally believe the gas companies buy off the politicians to keep the goverment presure off of them.. When George Bush was president they or we as a society blamed it on him . Now that Obama is president he does not get the blame.

Yup, gas is $4.29 where I'm at. Haven't had to fill up in a week. Hoping it will drop a little bit by the time I need to fill up.

Enjoy it, fine sir. You'll be as angry as the rest of us when college is over.

same here. growing up gas was always under $1/gal then katrina hit and it seemed like that was excuse everyone needed to jack prices up overnight. and it seems like we've never looked back since then.

I've already experienced it from co-oping. Driving 12 miles a day isn't fun. I have no idea how the people who lived like an hour away deal with it.

Europe mainly uses diesel though which gets better gas mileage.

I fill up every week. My gas tank on average never drops below 3 quaters of a tank. I do this for two reasons . reason one I dont have to pay out of pocket 90.00 dollars to fill up. Reason 2 if there is some crises or terrorist electronic grid attack and you can not get gas your screwed. Some say that is crazy and wont happen but if for some reason it does I at least have gas in my tank. I also have a generator at my house with a plug in in the garage and backfeed it to my fuse box and I will have electricity. I also have about 50 gallons of gas stored up in case of no electricity. I can go about 1 month in cases of emergencies or no electricity.

Yeah, it really doesn't help. I just have to pay attention to the prices and find out which towns have the lowest prices. I swear, the prices can change by .30/gallon within a 15-mile radius.

Here in Canada we go by litres, but where I live (which is cheaper than a lot of places) it'd be nearly $5 a gallon today. In the more expensive areas it's nearly $6. When we had the long weekend it skyrocketed like 20c a litre up overnight. It was ridiculous.

Motorcycles are mostly just dangerous from being in the same intersections with cars. If there were less cars on the road motorcycles would be safer. Yeah I still need a car for the family but the majority of my driving is back and forth from work.

I disagree motorcycles worst enemy are not cars.. There worst enemies are solid objects such as trees steel posts the ground ect . Oh yeah and gravity. four wheels are more stable than two.. Anyway gas prices are two high ..If gas prices would go down people would drive more which equates to buying more gas. And would also free up other money to be spent which would help economy which would mean employers would have to hire more to make more products because people are buying more..I am a genoius.

It's $3.65/gal where I'm at. It's bearable so far. I have no desire to replace both mid-size sedan and minivan (V6 engines) with something more fuel-efficient yet. In fact, we plan to add a 3rd vehicle, a crossover SUV (also with V6).
