Last Christmas I gave my heart, but the very next day. you gave it awaaaaaay.... This year, to save me some tears. I give it to someone speciaaaal...
Oh, man... that's sad..
A.I.D.S. related complications?
Was my first thought but who knows, maybe he had a hell of a Christmas Eve party last night.
Just heard the news. Terrible. Especially this of all days. How poetic/ironic that his passing was on a day associated with one of his biggest hits. RIP.

Well, it's kinda sad that you'll never look at these two videos the same way again (the latter in tribute to his late lover Anselmo Feleppa):
And here's a pretty good cover of "Careless Whisper":
Followed by a cover of "Faith" that people may rather forget:
Very sad. I've seen George Michael jokes already. Which is really poor taste when the guy is still Wham.
RIP. aside from all the celebrity deaths, 2016 for me has been the saddest year of my life for personal and family issues as well and honestly I don't expect 2017 to be any better.
A shame for his family but really not an entertainment loss. Never liked his music and as far as I know hadn't created much lately of any merit.
Imagine the great year of 1984, Reagan was president, MTV was playing videos in full swing, David Bowie was in fine form, releasing an album on the heels of 1983's "Let's Dance", Prince releases the huge "Purple Rain" album and the movie, and George Michaels Wham releases 4 Top 10 singles and a big selling album. All gone in 2016.

Reagan and Wham sucked.

To each their own, just like The Cure
@LJS9502_basic:
Not saying I loved Wham, but at least a couple of their songs bring back great memories of that year for me (Prince much more so, I had the Purple Rain album, good stuff, talented), I voted for Reagan in '84, then again I was in the military, and Reagan loved us.
