He's a forgetable president. Hasn't really done anything worth remembering. But he's good for a laugh!reddevilyiWeapons of mass destruction.

exactly my thoughts...
I don't think he's been the best president (far from it), but I'm not one of those people who thinks he's the devil or other ridiculous nonsense. My grandma won't even look at him! (Or OJ. Kinda funny actually how she reacts the same towards a murderer and just a lousy president)
I'm also not a fan of the Iraq War, but it's all volunteers fighting so it's not as bad as it could be. And WMDs were actually found and SOME progress is being made, but I just don't think we need to be there much longer. It's about time to go home.
And just so nobody says we lost it, that's not exactly the case. Yes, billions of dollars will have been lost, but we're taken out key targets (al-zarqawi (sp?) anyone? Their second in command?) We also took down Sadaam's awful regime, but the results make you think that maybe someone like him is necessary to control that kinda situation. Another reason why religion is really a bad thing in today's world (at least Sumerian religion is, farther eastern ones don't really have anything to get fanatical about) . Also, US kill-to-death ratio is always insanely lopsided in our favor.

HE has dragged the war out...he doesn't know what to do, have any solutions, let me guess, get out! that's a joke, it's not that simple. New Orleans...you have no idea what happened...no one hardly does. That was a joke....why save a city when it's citizens destroy it worse than the flood......and what the hell should he do about the fire...pee on it?!?!? All you people do is criticize, how about offering solutions, that would be a lot more helpful, but wait, you don't care about helping, just hating....sorry, i almost forgot.
He's a president who's easily the butt of every joke and yet people still forget that a lot of them still are. He's made bad decisions but, I'll admit, he's taken way too much criticism for it to the point where 'hating' him is a fad.

Ignoring the childish statements about NO and Cali, that's what a leader is supposed to do: have suggestions and solutions. If the average person could come up with solutions while the elected leader can't, he's not much of a leader, is he.

We weren't in WW2 right from the get go. Remember, it took us getting attacked at Pearl Harbo to really get us involved....

Around six years long..Still, Its longer than the Iraq war
I find it funny how everyone keeps saying he has the most stressful job and hardest job in the world. If he can't handle it, he never should have run for it, Clinton was able to handle it. I saw a graph that showed the USA's economy and it was in going deeper into debt at the year 1992 then all of a sudden began to go up and up and up until the year 2000 came. Pretty strange huh?xTheExploited
Clinton signed NAFTA which is why most of our jobs are being outsourced. Other than that, and the Lewinsky incident, he was a good president.

NAFTA is a big mistake and both sides supported it back then obviously to pass both house's you need a majority so blame goes around for both sides. As for Bush his polls are in the 20% range and I see all 20% are here in this thread:lol: Seriously how anybody in this day and age can like and support this Moron is beside me. He will go down in American history as thee worst President we have ever had. Someone here who likes him please explain what good he has brought to our Country? SCHIP was Vetoed By Bush what a freakin Idiot, maybe if SCHIP was for the rich he would have signed it. I could go on forever! Tax cuts for the Top 2% why? What about me, that Tax cut I got $75 dollars back keep it Mr. Bush. New Orleans, FEMA Director Brown was Praised by Bush" Brown your doing a hell of a job" matter of days later he resigned because of his horrible mismanagement. Two Attorney General's have resigned under Bush among a Plethora of other top appointments. There is a reason only less then ten percent of black people voted for Mr. Bush. At least they got it right. Believe me there is more where this came from! After 7 years of badmouthing this guy...i have stopped because i believe i have wasted my time. After 7years, 2 elections, and the ongoing War....ppl still find a way to like this guy...im dumbfounded....I guess he's got some vibe that just grabs on ppl...
Stressful job...yea right... ok maybe hes got a lot of crap on his hands but i bet he only does 5% of his job, that is to say incorrectly, hes got the CIA, the congress, his secretaries, and his advisers who jus basically tell him what to do...
Well, I don't where to start about him.
I don't go with the long post thing, but in short:
Bush just does not have ability to run a country. We might as well just send in a monkey to be president.
Poor people are getting more poor. Rich people have never had it better. The middle Class are defaulting on there house Mortgages in an unprecedented rate. Schools are over crowded and underfunded. Teachers are underpaid. Solders serving in Iraq face longer deployments and more deployments then ever. Veterans are not being properly diagnosed when injured thus receiving less of the benefits promised by the V.A. Solders are underpaid, the V.A. is underfunded the nations, Borders are still vastly unguarded 6 plus years after 9/11. Airports still lack necessary equipment to detect liquid explosives. The Nations port's are grossly underguard, need vastly more radiation detectors due to the lack of funding. Body armor for Iraqi Veterans was slow to arrive and heavily armored or retrofitted vehicles have been slow to arrive in Iraq no doubt causing more casualties then need be. recorded deficits, record debt. Billions in Iraq have gone unaccounted by firms such as KBR, Halliburton. Suicide rates dramatically up for Veterans in Iraq and Afghanistan. Opium production up 20% these year alone. An Independent group for NATO reported yesterday that the Taliban has control of 54% of Afghanistan, advising NATO ISAF forces to double from 40,000 troops to 80,000 troops or they risk losing more countryside. Osama Bin laden is still free and planning attacks against the West and European Interest 6 plus years after 9/11 despite a 50 million dollar bounty on his head. MR. Bush what happened to catching him dead or alive? Believe me there is a hell of a lot more! I knew someone in the world trade center and survived the Attacks on 9/11. In my opinion Those poor souls who died on 9/11 deserve their vengeance. This alone should be considered a Colossal failure! Sorry for the wall-o-text.H3llstrike
A few comments here and there:
"Poor people are getting more poor." Poor is relative. We live in a society where poor people have TOO MUCH food (obesity epidemic), and enjoy more luxuries (television, private housing, vehicle ownership, etc.) than a bulk of the rest of the world.
"The middle are defaulting on there house Mortgages in an unprecedented rate." That's their own dumb fault for taking out loans beyond their financial means. What would you have the government do? Act as a nanny and prevent people from borrowing money?
"Schools are over crowded and underfunded. Teachers are underpaid." Teacher/student ratios and teacher pay is predominately the responsibility of state and local education officials, not federal.
"Solders serving in Iraq face longer deployments and more deployments then ever." Not a big deal in an all-volunteer military, in my opinion.
"Airports still lack necessary equipment to detect liquid explosives. The Nations port's are grossly underguard, need vastly more radiation detectors due to the lack of funding." These things cost money... lots of money. You go on to complain about deficit and debt.
"Body armor for Iraqi Veterans was slow to arrive and heavily armored or retrofitted vehicles have been slow to arrive in Iraq no doubt causing more casualties then need be." This war already features the lowest casualty rate in American history.
"Suicide rates dramatically up for Veterans in Iraq and Afghanistan." Really? More so than other wars? I'm skeptical.
"In my opinion Those poor souls who died on 9/11 deserve their vengeance." We've already toppled two governments (Afghanistan and Iraq). What else needs to be done to avenge their deaths?

I really can't expess my thoughts about Mr. Bush without using... colorful language.
And every speech he gives should be put on Comedy Central.

In regards to your underlined response:
I have heard this response numerous times, as my father is an ardent Bush supporter. So what if it's the lowest casualty rate in American History? That justification makes me sick. So we're supposed to wait until the required amount of lives have been wasted until it's deemed necessary to equip them properly? It's justified because the death numbers aren't high relative to other wars? Give that response to a family that has lost a son or daughter over there.

How much body armor is considered adequate? I won't pretend to know the answer, and neither should you. All I know is that the casualty count has been incredibly low, which implies that they were well equipped.
Don't try that bullcrap of "ask a family member who lost someone." Allowing emotions to enter a debate (especially one about war) is never a good idea.

Maynard was actually way ahead of you in that respect, although he neither hates Bush nor thinks he is the anti-christ. He disagrees with him and encourages people to vote against him and people who share his ideals.
By the way, if you are religious and you believe in the anti-christ...the Bible says he will be almost universally liked and respected. That pretty much counts Bush out. People spewing hate at those they disagree with are the reason this nation is falling apart...maybe you should consider a more rational approach to politics.
He broke the international Laws that govern the international relations by going against the principle of non-use of violence, and by using the "preemptive war" argument, which is what you can call a hole, a flaw in the UN principles, to attack another country upon arguments (weapons of mass destruction) that were never proved, and all that, against the will of the UN, which represents all the States of this planet.
Yeah, a really good President, indeed.
