As the bush era comes to a close, I think its important for us to start thinking about how he will be viewed by future generations.

Decent president, GREAT commander in Chief. I've served in the Marine Corps proudly for the last 6 years and will continue to do so until retirement, as long as we continue to have CiC's like this. For all his faults, at least we FINALLY got a guy who understands just how serious the threat of these radical jhadists is and wants to take the fight to them.

I think that is a bit of an assertion to make -- Stalin was never going to be best pals with the USA, no matter who was in office -- with two clear defined superpowers at the end of WW2, there was always going to be conflict.

And Woodrow Wilson was a brilliant president, if it wasn't for the American congress, WW2 may never have happened, as The League of Nations would have had the power to stop Mussolini in Abbysinia, and most importantly Hitler in his clear violations of the treaty of Versailles.

I say Woodrow Wilson due to him signing in the Federal Reserve Act and the Federal Income Tax, and how that has lead us to where we are at currently with our National Debt. He supposedly regretted that decision of his in his death bed, but it was already done and nothing else we could do from that point on
