I have several news reports saying that he was arrested by police because he pulled a shotgun on his pregnant girlfriend. You say the girlfriend wasn't pregnant and that there was no gun. . .but you have no sources.

Imagine what the Trayvon Martin case would be have been like if this crime (and the domestic dispute from earlier this year), had come first.

There still wasn't enough evidence to convict Zimmerman. He had multiple lacerations on the back of his head, witnesses corroborating that Treyvon was on top of Zimmerman making "downward motions", and the stand-your-ground law that allows you use deadly force if you are in imminent danger of death or great bodily harm.

"A stand-your-ground law is a type of self-defense law that gives individuals the right to use deadly force to defend themselves without any requirement to evade or retreat from a dangerous situation"

I don't know what it is about this case that has made everyone take a stupid pill and ignore facts. Because he plead self-defense, the stand-your-ground law has everything to do with the case.
