um well if you wear the same clothes everyday then yea it does matter. but if you dont and have your own ****it doesnt matter. If your shy cant blame yourself for that a lot of guys are shy like that but the advice i can give u is in this day in age you wont see stuff you see in the movies a girl wouldn tmake you look like a complete ass if you did or said sumtin wrong. Just suck it up and talk to whoever you like.

When you stated that you were shy, there's your problem. Girls won't just come to you. You have to be ocnfident with who you are. If you show confidence, girls will find some attraction to you.

Yes. girls will judge you based on what type of clothes you wear and if you changed your style you might get a few more. But its not worth it, seeing as these type of girls are usually shallow as a puddle anyway.

I were a polo, with jeans along with tennis shoes and stuff like a necklace and belt.  I don't were it all nice though.  Kinda like in a messy fashion.  It works for me (and the ladies supposedly).8)

If a girl will only talk to you because of how you're dressed then they're not really worth talking to in the first place.

I wear solid color long-sleeve shirts.  They have no colars, buttons, or anything fancy.  I also wear nice completely unripped jeans that don't look tight or baggy.  I also work out a lot (girls like built pecs  ).  With that said, I don't get any girls either.  I'm sure it's because i don't go anywhere.  I'll probably get a few dozen girls when I go to college in 1 year.

Looking nice and having a good sense of style is always a good way to attract a girl. But having confidence and the way you carry yourself is also important.

For people that don't know you, the only thing they have to go on is what you look like

I'm too lazy to explain what that means, so if you don't know what I meant by that, then you are either too young to have a girlfriend, or too stupid

I don't really look at clothes, and I don't think my friends do. The problem is you're too shy. You have to get them to know you better by going up and talking to them.

It's not just necessarily he clothes IMO, but first impressions are important and if you have expensive clothes and show confidence you'll probably find an abundance of girls interested in you

Or you can just buy a Ferrari

Drive up to a busy club, park near the entrance and open the passanger door, within a minute a fine lady will hop in the passanger seat.

Then it turns out that the "fine lady" is actually a transexual man named Jim.

Buying a nice car would definently woo the preppy girls.

It's both. People can complain all they want that the girls are being shallow, but even if you're confident, as you walk up to that girl all she can see is your face and your clothes. I'm assuming you are a teenager like me, and most of the girls your age are sorta "preppy" so you'll have to deal with it. Dress nice and be confident is my advice.

What you're doing wrong is obsessing over the clothes you wear. I don't think women want a man who is as concerned about their clothes than she is. I mean, you don't want to look like this guy.

thats a touch on the ignorant side. You can be concerned about how you look and not look like that guy. Most girls do enjoy a guy who can dress himself and have a sense of st*le. Just throwing some clothes on and heading out the door tends to not be as apealing as a guy who actually goes shopping and buys his own clothes. Also pink isn't a "girl" color. Some guys can pull off the color.

But all in all it depends on the girl, we're all really generalizing here, some girls will enjoy soem things were other girls will enjoy other things.

EDIT: Why did it censor the word s t y l e ? :S

Since many people dress this way (though I don't know why), another tip would be to dress differently and stand out. TC: your friend is probably one of a thousand people at your school/in your area that go to Abercrombie to buy every pink polo and any t-shirt with a sexual innuendo in sight. Dress a little different, a little better and you'll get noticed.

It's an error with the wysiwyg. "st*le is a command in the code and for whatever reason, it confuses the word "st*le" with its respective command.

Uhm, as an acceptable member of society, I'd have to say that girls don't like you because you ask for this kind of advice on the internet. If that's not the geekiest thing ever, I don't know what is. Go out and do stuff for yourself! Take an impulse! Grow some cajones!

I just wear very plain clothes now.  Like solid t-shirts and jeans or shorts and I get a lot of interest from girls.  A few years ago I was making a lot of money and wore suits every day.  I have to Armani, 2 Hilfiger etc.  Didn't own a suit that cost less than $400.  And I got a lot less attention from girls.

It think its BS.  Just where what you are comfortable in and be easy going and you get a lot more chicks and better ones too.

You answered your own question. You have to go out of your way to talk to girls and show them you have an interest in them. They are not mind readers (this can be debated... >_>) and cannot tell what you are thinking unless you tell them.

Start talking to some girls around you. You do not need to talk to them about anything important or "embarrassing" just talk about the weather or some recent school event. Start building your conversational confidence among the opposite sex and go from there. You cannot just wait for one to jump into your lap and start making out with you...

I thought that and ended up going through all my adolescent years without a single peck or dance from/with a member of the opposite sex. I could have changed all that by going up to the females I was attracted to and began a conversation with them.

The first impression is very important. You don't want to look like a bum, or girls won't talk to you. However, just put on clothes that you like. And if girls aren't coming over to talk to you, then you better go to them instead.

First impressions is the first step, and personality is the second.
