Who here believes that Ghosts are real? Who here believes in an Afterlife? If you want to share some true stories about Ghosts/Afterlife feel free.

Here is my story.

A few years ago my Grandma died. The day after she died my family was sitting in the kitchen. I looked out the window and saw this White Dove. I was shocked because Dove's never really fly around my area. That bird was just sitting there looking at us all. It was literally glowing, like a bright light, just staring at us. I went outside to try and get closer but it flew away and never came back. I believe this was a message from the other side.

I believe in ghosts though I've never been so fortunate as to see one. One of my best friends had a pretty insane encounter with a ghost, though.

That's amazing... It very well could have been. The only instance I can recall is the memorial service for all of the people who had died in the past year the year that my grandpa died. My family and I had stood up when his name was called, my mom and aunt and grandma were crying (as usual) and the moment passed and we sat back down. The very next name was called and their family happened to be directly in front of us, as they stood a woman straight in front of us had a huge piece of toilet paper hanging from her skirt. Our whole family noticed and we all snickered.... That event mirrored my grandfather's exact sense of humor....it was a touching moment

To me, ghosts are one of those things I won't believe until I see it myself. Hope that never happens, though. I'd probably **** myself.

You know the Ouija board thingy? It actually works, I have no clue how it works but it did for me. Apparently, there was someone named Adam from the Netherlands and he came to Canada. My friends, sister, and I were talking to him and they moved a marble. I don't know if that was really true or not but here's a real story. I think it was 2005 when this happened. In the middle of the night, the fire alarm or the carbon monoxide detector would always go off and strange things would happen in the morning. It was like some sort of warning. They both kept on going off in the night non-stop and then in the morning, one of my aunties had died. The week after, the same thing was happening constantly. I found out one of my grandpa's were dead one morning after the ringing was going constantly through the night. Everything was clear for about six months, then it all started happening again. The exercise bike even started beeping...(what the hell? The thing dosen't even have an alarm!) and the detectors kept on going off. I found out my dog was sick and she died 4 days later. :( It was actually pretty scary, but this Ouija board thing relates to this story, one of Adam's friends was a trouble maker and he/she was making the alarms go off...like a warning of some sort. :|

I believe in ghosts (I think spirits is more appropiate), I never seen one or had any sort of experience, but I do believe in them. I heard that in places like India, Cambodia etc... where the notion of spirits and afterlife is much more accepted and believed in, an encounter is more likely for that reason alone.

After all, if you really want to get deep about it, we all do work together mentally, and if we all focussed and truly opened our minds together on one thing, we can project it as a reality for everyone.

There is a theory that Ghosts can communicate through electrical items. Whatever substance Ghosts are made of, it can interact with electrical stuff. This is just a theory though.

Pretty cool. I believe that when you die you have only 1 chance to contact your family and friends. My grandma chose to send a glowing white Dove to us. Your Grandpa chose to put toilet paper on a ladies dress, because as you said that was his humour.

I had an experience a few times actually. Some people might not believe me, but I always feel like there's a ghost around me, watching me. I've also heard children laughing outside and this was even before my nephew and niece were even living here. I live out in the country, and there' really no one around us. Plus, it sounded like it was coming from my front yard. I've also had times where I saw things out of the corner of my eye, like a something shrouded in black. I've also had times where I would hear my dog barking outside after she passed away. I always see her ball in the in front yard and sometimes the same ball in the back yard. When my grandfather passed away, my mom and dad told my grandma how they found this like case or whatever for the American flag he had since he fought in World War II, I do believe. After the funeral, my mom and dad started searching through the magazine, not finding it and when they woke up the next morning, the same magazine that they were looking through was flipped to the page where the case like thing was at.

I've never seen a ghost really unless you count seeing movement in the corner of your eye even though nothings there. I'd like to believe in an afterlife, but I really don't think I can believe in something so....intangible for lackof a better word. I just think that life is renewed in a new shape or form, kinda like reincarnation.

Scientists say seeing black figures out of the corner of your eye is normal. Feeling like there is another person/ghost around you is also normal Scientists suggest. Its got something to do with when a part of your brain is stimulated.

Even so, do they say the same thing when you see it, there is like a black shroud...sort of like a cloak with the edges being tattered?

But dont you think its abit wierd how Shadow People are only seen out of the CORNER OF THE EYE???? I think there is a Scientific explination for this case, because people dont see them directly infront. I just have a gut feeling its got a scientific explination. If lots of people saw these Shadow's head on right infront of them, fine it probly would be Supernatural. But the fact 99% of them are seen out of the Corner of the Eye, just gives me the feeling its not Supernatural.

Only problem I have with Reincarnation is that, what happens when the world gets blown up by the Sun? Then we cannot reincarnate anywhere because Earth will be gone.

Reincarnation is Possible, but unlikely. There are millions of sperm in a males body, which means we have 1 in about 20 billion chance to be reborn again. Unless that is not the theory of reincarnation?
