gif don't work...gif no good....

i just wanted to know if any of you guys could help me with switching a .gif file to a .wmv or .asf file.

i copy some videos to my computer but they saved as .gif files and when i send them to some people they don't play...just a picture of the first screen shows and that's it. i'm trying to figure out how i can change them so the videos play since gif doesn't do that everytyme.

i think you have to buy a program to do that. though i dont know any. :(Putzwapputzen

thanks, i'll try that...just wish i could just set them all to that instead of having to walk people through opening it everytime i want to send them to someone.
