what is the one gift you regret giving a girl? I remember last year when I bought a girl a nintendo ds. At the time it was 170 CAD after tax and to top it off I gave her my copies of mario 64 and Animal Crossing (got an r4 :P). That would be the ultimate pwnage on me.
Last year for christmas I got my GF about $190 worth of gifts (perfume, books, Starbucks giftcard). It's not that I think she wasn't worth it or anything but she gave me a...Chia pet -.- (I told her that's what I wanted for x-mas, but I was clearly JOKING with her). Needless to say she ended up crying after we exchanged gifts because she felt bad.
And we broke-up like a week after x-mas so it was kind of waste of my money to buy all that stuff. -.-

I bought my ex (then bf) a 300$ 14k Italian gold chain for no real special occasion. I also bought him about 150$ worth of clothes another time because he told me he didn't have a lot, only I never got to give them to him because the same day I did that he ended up breaking a really important promise he made to me (again). and then we broke up soon after.
I don't really regret getting gifts. I never used to get particularly expensive things other than in my last relationship and my current one, and both of those have been fairly long term.

My bad, I was only interested in the guys opinion at the moment and I am sorry to hear about your breakup. It really sucks when you invest yourself (emotional and/or financially) and it only falls apart. Well there is always tomorrow. :)
a $110 neckalace for my gf that i just started dating for 3 days! it was a couple days before xmas. the reason why i did was because she was the cheerleader captain and was the hottest girl in class (im not lying either, is it so hard to believe that i got sum game?)...and all my friends were like damn dude no way ur goin out with her...then we broke up a short month after but all i really think about now is wut i could of done with that money. that was my one chance at a cheerleader and i blew it. teehee oh well life goes on right? and im about 2 graduate in 2 and a half months so no moe akward moments in the hallways with her lol.
