You know there is a point where jokes aren't funny anymore and calling German Nazis is a stupid, ignorant 62 year old joke that never had any substance. Sure we can't ignore what happened but funnily enough this guy is remembered way too often. I mean hardly anybody makes Stalin jokes even though he killed millions in labor camps called gulags. Nobody rememebers the Japanese massacre on the chinese, etc...

I'd be happy to answer moderation questions in the Ask the Mods forum: http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_topics.php?board_id=909091235. Bringing this up here is killing the OP's topic which I was trying to prevent with my comment, but I'll elaborate on my first post:

Hitler obviously existed, I don't have a problem with him as a topic of intelligent discussion. To make light of his crimes by bringing a bobble head of him to a host family in German is not funny in the context of this forum where people from all over the world are reading it. Also you have to consider that 60% of this thread at the time had negative Hitler jokes so either they all have to be removed or none of them which isn't an option.

Making jokes about Americans in that light is not allowed either and should be reported.
