Yeah, it would be better to put some though behind the gifts, and not just put money behind the gifts. PLUS if it DOES last this is a VERY expensive trend to be starting so early. mate, seriously if i were you out of that list just buy her a book, some chocolates, possibly some flowers and thats about it... or praps a CD as well but m8 your goin way over the top, so much so she'll NEVER think she can repay you and get you similar stuff for your b'day, even tho you'll tell her you don't want it she'll still be annoyed.

Wow dude, either you much be really rich, or really love this girl. I know how you feel man. You just want to make her happy, but I made the same mistake in my first relationship. Everything is very relative, so like the other guys here said, gradually build up your gifts. If you go all out on this birthday, what are you gonna do next time? Don't get me wrong, it's great that you really like her an everything, but sometimes relationships are counter-intuitive.

Now on the other hand, if you really are a multi-millionaire, you can just get her a car for her second birthday, a house on her third, an island for the fourth... well you get the picture. haha. Good luck and take it easy! If she loves you back, she'll be happy with whatever you get her.
