Yes. Vernors especially. Lot's of people compare it to whiskey or any hard liquor in that the first time you drink it you usually cough uncontrollably. It's especially good to make a vanilla-vernors root beer float.

Yay during this weather (finally some cold weather in the Northeast :D) otherwise nay. It's not a disliking of it, just not my preferred choice. Usually I go with Canada Dry.
