Girl advice?

Ok, there is this girl I have been going to school with for a while, since Freshman year(I'm a Sophmore) I like her a lot, she has all the same hobbies as me, video games, anime, that kinda stuff. We are pretty good friends in school but she has a Bf and they've been going out for like 5 months, I never met him though becuase he goes to a different school, should I wait or stop liking her?

Does she know you like her? From whatever she may have told you, or from her body language, do you get the impression she likes you?

The best thing to do in these situations, in my experience, is to just be open and honest. Tell her how you feel. She may feel the same way. The worst case scenario is that you will, through awkwardness, no longer remain friends. The best case scenario is that she feels the same about you, will politely end things with her boyfriend and you will become a couple.

So, I guess the question is, are you willing to risk losing what sounds like a pretty fruitful friendship?

If you are, then tell her. Tell her everything. She will appreciate it, whatever happens.

take her to dinner as just friends and then when your done chowing down ask her if she would ever really go out with you if she didnt have a boyfriend

then try and get a new girlfriend while plaing the waiting game depending on her answer

I don't think there's any point in waiting if you'll just be able to stop liking her immediately. That basically means you don't like her too much if you can do that. Trying to get the two to break up is pretty harsh unless the boyfriend's not a good guy, which you probably wouldn't know since, like you said, you've never met him. I'd say find another girl. Doesn't mean you have to stop liking the one you're asking advice for on a gaming forum (not the best place, just so you know), but you won't be waiting for what could be potentially a long time being single. But if you have trouble getting a girlfriend in general, then you might have a problem.

dude if your still looking at this thread and looking for serious advice. I've been going out with my girlfriend for 5 months, and it would be crazy hard to break up with her. what im saying is that her and her BF are probably really close, and aeven if they do break up soon no way she would go out with someone that soon. I would try to get interested in different girls.

lol, so true, why on earth would you come to gamespot for advice? not to be mean or anything, but I'm sure that half the people here, haven't had a girlfriend, and I'm sure, half of that group would take a free Wii, PS3 and XBOX 360 with unlimited free games, over a girlfriend... but while you're here, I'll give you my 2 cents..

My girlfriend and I have been going out for 15 months, and we're great.. We like the same things, video games, movies, kinda like you and the girl you're crushing... However, we would never have happened if one of us didn't take a first step to get the relationship going... So what I suggest you do, is you tell her how you feel, but also tell her that you'll respect her by letting her make a decision on whether or not she wants to keep going out with her BF... If she decides to choose you, lucky you, if not, well, you can wait up and maybe she'll turn around, or try for another girl... Either way, live life with no regrets, cause you may end up regretting it...
