So anyway, there's this one girl who recently started working at my job. She's pretty hot, and I'd totally do her. She also seems like a really nice girl, and she's nice to me. And she seems to like me too, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Nice hot girls liking you is usually a good thing.
But honestly, this chick is starting to get on my freaking nerves.
Because, like, she somehow feels the need to get my attention and try to talk to me every time I see her. Like, I get to work and I ignore her. Because that's just how I roll. I like everyone, but I'm the quiet dude who doesn't talk to people, so I just run with that. I get to work, start working, and don't waste time with chitter-chatter.
So anyway, I see this girl when I get to work and usually don't say anything to her. Not that I don't like her or anything, but I work with a LOT of people, and I have better ways to spend my time than stopping to say hello to everyone. If they say hi to me first, I'll stop, engage in some VERY brief small talk, then continue working.
But this chick is starting to annoy me. She'll say hi to me when she first sees me, then we'll have some small talk. But she then will NOT leave me the **** alone!. Every time I pass by her, she tries to get my attention, or talk to me about something. I'll be going about my merry way, busy as hell, and then she'll wave at me or loudly say my name so that I say hello to her back. And the whole time I'm justy thinking..."this is a nice girl, and I guess I like her, and she is pretty hot, but I'm sort of busy right now. Why won't she LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE? Didn't I just say hello to her FIVE FREAKING MINUTES AGO?"
So...any ideas on what the hell is up with this chick? Have any of you ever met a woman who acted like this after meeting you only a week earlier, and without the two of you ever ONCE having had a meaningful conversation about anything?
Really, we've never even actually TALKED. We've had very brief small talk, and that's it. And then, within a week, I almost feel like I've got a stalker. It's actually really starting to creep me the **** out.
So anyway, is this woman someone who I should be worried about? Is she a total psycho, or is she just a little bit too enthusiastic about being friendly?
