In Sint Maarten - a Caribbean island, there is an airport located directly before a beach. When planes take off from its runway, the gusts from their engines can be forceful enough to send people flying into the air. In light of this, on the fence that closes off the runway, there is a sign which warns people that they can sustain injuries or die if they are close to the fence when a plane takes off. Some girl, in addition to other people, ignored the sign and was blown back. Here are two videos on the accident. The first one is a commentary by the Hodge Twins and the second one is the raw footage of the incident.

I personally think it's pretty dumb for the airport to have been built so close to a beach. Even though there is a sign which warns people, do you think people should be fined - which they can be - considering the odd placement of the airport? Also, if people are injured or killed, should the airport be held liable?
