Girl help *yeah, you guys probably know the drill*

Ok, so today i was in school with a good friend of mine. We're celebrating valentines day at school tomarrow, and i found a valentine, but im too scared to admit my feelings to her. So when i tell my friend, he says 'you're not gonna get a girl by being -----, try to be more flirty with her." So he sees her walking behind us with her friend, and he tells me to pretend to fix my pants. So she bumps into me, and says "Why did you stop walking?" i reply by saying "I was fixing my pants." then she says "riiiiiiight" (with sarcasm). So then i asked him if i screwed up, and he says "No, you did fine". By now im thinking i messed up and that i have no chance with her.

As school ended, i asked him "where should i put her gift at?" and he says "Put it in front of her locker". i was expecting a more smarter idea though, so i asked him: "Have you ever even went out with anyone before?" and then he replied "...No." *15 minutes of swearing later* Here i am. Im not sure what to do now. I dont want her to think im some sort of pervert or anything, and i only have till tomarrow to do it. how do i convince her otherwise?

P.S: Also, i got a gift for her, where should i put it???

How about...tell her straight up how you feel and give her the gift in person? :P My girlfriend and I were together for 4 months before i made the mistake of breaking up with her. We just kinda stayed to ourselves for 3 months after that, talking every once in a while. After my first week in college i told her i missed her and we made a plan to go to the movies that coming weekend. I couldnt stand not being able to be close to her, and upon taking her home i told her that i still liked her. She said she never stopped liking me, and asked what all this means, and i kissed her.
