Girl Situation Thread

No this isn't a thread asking how to talk to a girl...

I've been talking to this girl for about 2 weeks and I would say that at this point we've probably developed feelings for one another. Once or twice she brought up that her ex boyfriend won't leave her alone and he stalks her facebook. Consequently, I get a text message saying "stay away from my girl, I'm only going to tell you this one time."

Now I'm not scared of the guy by any means, I'm just not a fighter at all. I believe that there is usually a better way to handle a situation than with your fists. Besides, I'm starting college in the fall and I can't be bothered to fight a guy over a girl...

If this dude does try to swing at me, however, I'm not going to run away.

And if she wants to talk to me I'm not going to say, "No! I'm not allowed, he's watching." I think it shows how tough the guy is sending me a threat through a text message...does nobody have the decency to call anymore?

Still have no idea how buddy got my number.

Don't let fear influence your thinking. That said, that message seems to imply something pretty threatening. If you end up in any escalation with this guy, just call the police. You don't want any trouble, and you might be surprised how quickly these sorts of situations can get out of hand.

Sounds like she likes drama and wants to create more drama by having two guys fight over her.

While sucking up to you saying the ex is mean, she's probably saying the same thing to him about you.

Trust me I've seen it happen.

Cut her off for a week. No communication. If she really likes you she'll come find you.

I said only if it escalates into something serious. Depending on how well the OP knows the guy in question, I would not recommend taking any chances.

i wouldn't worry about him. he'll be all tough through a text message, but he probably doesn't have the sack to back any of it up. and if he does, just scramble and let him try to beat you up, but fail. don't fight him though, it'll only end up worse if you do that.

i wouldn't fight over a girl ever.there are chances that they'll get to gether again and that's when you'll feel horrible for being such an idiot.it's pretty obvious that the guys hasn't gotten over her yet and i blame her for that,if she'd dealt with him properly he wouldn't have allowed himself to send you threats via text. she's probably using you.

This thread is another demonstration of flagrant abuse of sexual power by some women. Some women think that just because they are pretty, attractive or desirable that men should beg to get any kind of attention from them (if any at all).
