because I supposedly didnt 'defend her honor'.

while walking out of a movie theatre to my car these three guys made some comments about her, basically saying they'd hit it and she was hot or whatever. We just ignored them and went on our way. She says one of them wistled at her but I dont remember hearing it. When driving home she asked me why I didnt say anything to 'defend her honor'. I guess she expected me to fight these three dudes to prove I cared for her or something. I tried to explain to her that this is real life and three-on-one is almost a garunteed trip to the hospital but she's still a little pissed at me for not doing anything. I've only been dating this girl for three weeks anyway and it's not my fault she dresses like a slut...

Just forget about it. You did the correct, adult thing. If she's a big girl maybe she should have said something.

I think there's a certain c|ass of 17-20 year old that just sits outside movie theatres trying to start fights. Maybe that's why police are always there. Some guys called my girlfriend a skank one time outside a theatre. I don't know what they were thinking, as I had several friends with me, and we were all in better shape than these guys. Some words were exchanged, but they didn't want to fight. I get they just wanted to talk smack to passersby. What losers.

Anyway, you did the right thing. Fighting people in public? No reason for it. Great way to get arrested.

You are not a coward. You would have been outnumbered, AND its really not worth it. If she dresses like a slut, then she should expect to be treated like one, really. If she was that bothered, she should have said something herself to defend herself... and a girl who dresses like a slut.. does she really have much honor to defend in the first place? ... I dont dress like a slut, and I dont expect my boyfriends to have to handle all my situations for me. If someones bugging me, I tell them. Did you say something to her immediately after they make the rude comments. I know I would of said something like "Ignore those idiots, they are not worth our time".

Anyway, getting into a physical confrontation would have been stupid. I think you did the most mature and responsible thing. If she allows her "honor" to be damaged by such people it's her problem.

I probably would've gone up to them, while sizing them all up. I'd check out the situation, but I'd hold back on violence.
