Nope. T2 is definitely the best action movie ever. The special effects are better than alot of the **** you see nowadays...Then you obviously know nothing, because special effects aren't everything. OH MY GOD, NO WAY T2 HAS MORE ACTIONZ. It's the story that matters, that's what Cameron nailed in the first, thats the way he had wanted it. T2 is a sequel, it's something he probably hadn't made the first one in mind with.
I never said the special effects were anything, it is just something I like to point out.... And T2 is really a superior movie in every way. Story is better with the good terminator getting involved It is filled with the best action sequences ever shot, ever (Hospital chase, semi and bike chase) The characters are better (Badass Sarah Conner is much more interesting then defenseless Sarah) And finally, the T-1000 is by far the coolest villain ever imagined, ever. The liquid metal thing is by far the coolest thing ever.I didn't like how Sarah, we all the sudden, see her become a badass. It felt like there was a gap, expecially because she was so defensless in first movie. But that agian, was another reason I think the first is better, because she needs a protector, Michael Biehn (sp?) who we don't find out his real motive till a bit later. It was all the beautiful pacing Cameron had constructed for the beggining, to the end. Especially when we find out he's the father. The pace felt a bit, meh, for me in T2. But, T2 certainly does have some great action sequences, more towards end, is where I liked T2 the most. Both definately have great atmospheres.
