Gladiator is one of the top 5 movies of this decade. 300 doesn't come close. Gladiator has better story, better acting, better cinematography...better everything. SAURON221
I would not say its the top 5 of this decade an 300 had way better fight scenes.
Sure...it had better fight scenes. Doesn't matter. The movie lacked in many other areas, whereas, Gladiator didn't. Pretty fight scenes don't make a war movie great. Just look at Lawrence of Arabia, for example. (Lawrence of Arabia may be better than these 2 movies combined too)I over all really hated gladiator it did not deliver what I wanted form its battle scenes were pretty much the trailors they showed for it and the realy I thought was dumb sorry but I don;t think it was even close to be calling it an epic.
Do you look for anything in a movie, aside from battle scenes? Did you even follow the story in Gladiator?
Or did you just sit there in the movie theater waiting for someone's head to get cut off?
No I look at other things I just thought its not good at all really like people make it out to be.
OK...that's fine. But it's still outclasses 300 by far.No I don't tihnk so lets agree to disagree
Plus 300 is focues on its fighting scene not really on the plot back at sparta they were really going for the whole fighting tihng unlike gladiator so I don't think it's right to compare the two.
What the hell!? A movie is supposed to tell a story. Action is something that moves the story along, and can be part of it. If you're not looking for a story in your films, you might as well just watch music vidoes all day.
