There were women in one of my classes who had to be at least in the 40's , and they always acted like they knew everything ... they are the worst type
I am starting at 18 or 19 but there is nothing wrong with 21.leegar88yeah i know there is nothing wrong with starting college at 21 but it just a feeling i have always regreting about if I start started college at 19 i would be grauduating colllege at age 23:-=
I started at 17 and I'm turning 21 in Dec. and graduating next year. There's absolutely nothing wrong with starting at age 21. In fact, there's a a lot of "older" people in almost all my classes and people treat them the same, as far as I'm concern. Older people are cool, I'd rather talk to them than the young pretentious mothereffers. In my opinion, age is the last thing you should worry about. Good luck!hobbez
Since I'm in community college there are alot of older people just starting college or are restarting their college experience for cheaper. They are more interesting because they have more life experience and it is fun to listen to them. But, I had one in my Anthropology class who thinks she is smarter than the teacher and complains all the time when she doesn't get her way. It was the first and only time I have seen two above fifty year old women arguing, very childish.
My boyfriend will be starting college at 21 next year, he's working on his portfolio to get into art college at the moment and took a year out after repeating his exams the previous year. I'm encouraging him as this is what he wants. I started college at 16 and finished when I was 20. Everyone said I was too young and couldn't handle it, but I was able to and do it well. It was no where near as bad as my final year of school. Everyone is different and it doens't matter how old you are to go to college as long as you are ready.
