I'll be heading to Washington D.C. in October for a school trip. The trip costs about $1000 which includes plane ticket, meals, hotel(we'll be staying there for three days), tour bus, and admission tickets. So do you guys have any advice/ stuff to look out for? I'm really exited and can't wait to go to somewhere the isn't Illinois/Iowa for once.

anyway,I dont have any advice for you. just stick with the group. how old are you?

are you allowed to carry a stun gun in D.C?

Bring a shovel and look for Lincoln's gold. I'm sure they'll let you into the White House yard for that.

It looks like a school trip which means very little personal time. I doubt he'd be able to get to a game.

I pretty much say just relax, and enjoy yourself and don't listen to the chaperons they're often paranoid and overly stressed out. There's no way you can really see even a small portion of the stuff in DC in just 3 days. Hit the major stuff and then look into stuff you'd like to go back and see again someday.

Ask George Bush if he likes tacos, you might engage in a intellectual conversation.

Yes, as long as you keep the wireless finctions off and only play it between take off and landing. The pilot usually tells you when you can switch on electronic equipment.

Dude DC sucks -____- haha anyway you can go to Pentagon City there is a good sized mall over there... and hm... There's a lot going on in downtown usually you can check that out as well... whatever you do if you dun want to get shot or robbed stay out of 14th street and the ghetto part of 16th street which is near Columbia Heights... you can also go to Wheaton by subway it's on the red line last stop I think not sure... there is ok size mall there too... if you want to go partying or something I don't know how old are you can check out Georgetown just take Wisconsin Ave all the way down you'll end up under K street bridge... there's also a good movie theater there.... if you ask me just hang out in Georgetown it's the most rich place in DC and there are a lot of shops there... oh you can also like check out the billion memorials and museums there are which I haven't gone to -____-

if you have any more questions feel free to ask...
