So, I am currently doing some stock selection at the library, buying new books for the teenage section. The age range this is aimed at is about 14 - 18. I have been able to find copious suggestions for good books for teenage girls (a set of Twilight books and I'm away :P) but I am finding it harder to choose some for the lads.
I have ordered Cormac McCarthy's 'The Road', of course, and William Sutcliffe's 'Bad Influence'. We have copies of these in the Adult Fiction section but I think they would be good additions to the Teenage as well.
But yeah, can any of you fine chaps recommend me some good reading that you have enjoyed, that I could suggest to the avid (!) young male readers please? They don't need to be specifically aimed at teenage readers, but obviously I could do without them being particularly offensive, or graphic sexually.
Thank you :)
