Check out Coil. Almost any style of electronic music they've done at some point.

Just pop some pills, put your favorite band on, and flash the lights on an off. Bam, electronica music. Of course I'm basing this on absolutely no experience. But its the internet. All I need is a dream an a box of tissues.

Hmm.

Bassnectar, Afrojack, Deadmau5, Daft Punk, LCD Soundsystem are some. I admit I don't listen to a lot either though.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ti-39pAqel8

Here's my favorite afrojack song. Let it go till about 2:14 before you decide whether you like it or not.

The lack of good electronic music being posted is disturbing. The Advisory Circle Crystal Castles Gareth Emery W&W Above and Beyond Phantogram Rex The Dog Prodigy Aphex Twin Sleep Party People M83 Camo & Crooked Goldfrapp North Atlantic Oscillation The Notwist okay so most of these arent exactly electronic but have elements, but all are good.

I'll second Infected Mushroom, Daft Punk and Royksopp. Some other artists I like are: Louis La Roche: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tjKCLjxFZIhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ckt2y63oQCA He has a bunch of free remixes and stuff on his sound cloud, and a free ep: The Peach that you can download to get started with if you want. I also like this track off of the free EP "How we became us" from his side project "Ewe": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFHk0528iDg Madeon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTx3G6h2xyAhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ToClGP7Tsc Danger: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fr-iawLvNr4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yT8AC45ARaA&feature=related Sebastian: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jj6iWhCUHghttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsN_GUJuaTM Moullinex: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vjc4wHRjnfwhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGXYuOAR2is&feature=related She: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sIOf7R0zWAhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzClkMxdsgI Lots of freebies on shemusic.org Trash80: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DA8CchVOn0http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6OG95Np2Xg All of his music may be downloaded for free on trash80.com Justice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThKNt-GY1wwhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqBhgEQ4LT0&ob=av2e Capsule: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viycVSrrCXk&ob=av2ehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJKf_-1tF30

Well, I like drum and bass. If you have an iPod or iPhone I would suggest a few podcasts. The best drum and bass podcast is Drum and Bass Arena. Best trance podcast is Armin Van Burren A state of trance.

A little tip due to the recent popularity of electronic music: Super popular dj's(ie Deadmau5, Skrillex, etc) although good are generally not the best in their genre, just the most popular.

I love Glitch Mob.

You should try these guys:

Bag Raiders

Crystal Castles

Desire

FM Attack

Holy Ghost!

Grum

Mike Simonetti

You should also check out the label Valerie if you like the 80s synth-vibe.

For glitch, can't believe no one's mentioned Venetian Snares. For about 40 different genres, try di.fm. Well worth the $5 per month for premium quality audio.

ummm do you know what the dnba podcast is? it's mainly the most popular artist, not the best of their genre... instead try the beta recordings podcast, lifted music podcast, subtitles music podcast, metalheadz podcast... it goes on and on, so many better than dnba.

And here I thought I was the only one here who knew this guy existed. These are pretty good, too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lb2bJtQpFm4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtBXBCukTkY Although they've already been suggested by others. . . Pendulum - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGow4nmYkkA Infected Mushroom - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuZNLKTUlsY Boys Noize - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xo3AbJ9GiPQ And I have to suggest deadmau5 as a good place to start, if nothing else. My favorite song off of his first album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqVGVmlX1Ts The song that everyone loves: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7ArUgxtlJs My favorite song off of his latest album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__2ABJjxzNo And here's a remix of a good classic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOrlmuprm-8 Oh, if you want some more variety, I recommend browsing the vitalelectronic channel on YouTube when you have some free time.

Nobody has mentioned Big Gigantic yet, but they are the best. The power sax solos over the synth make Big Gigantic stand out from the multitudes of repetitive electronic artists.

Check Out Sky High (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1ZmzTDu09U&feature=related) or Light of Day (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjPF4boDadM&feature=related)

Also, their I Need a Dollar Remix (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grgnDDXJI7A) is awesome, even if it's not strictly electronic.

Links weren't working... Annoying
