Like the other poster said, FiOS if you can get it. Otherwise you're stuck with AT&T or Comcrap. In that case, I strongly recommend a VPN service as those two companies seem to take a special interest in their customers' internet activities.
I find it retarded that when they say 10 Mbps, they're actually saying Mbits/sec. Not Mbytes. Big difference. I hate that.

That's exactly what they mean.
Mbps=(MB/8s)
The Internet has always given me the impression that mb was megabyte, ex. "my hard drives got 500 mb total", "i got 32 mb ram". But, the international group setting the standard for this crap already changed the symbol 'b' to 'bit' for greater clarity, but some ISPs are using the old one (retarded). Generally, Mb (lower case) is bit while MB is byte. On topic, Verizon FIOS is easily the best ISP in the US if you have access to it.Please Log In to post.
