Can anybody reconment some good psychological thriller books. (except for American Psyco, Hannibal Lector titles and the Dexter series I already read them). Thanks in advance guys.

Velocity by Dean Koontz is pretty good, although it might not be as psychological as what you're looking for.

I hate Dean Koontz,

But Velocity is some fantastic lighte reading.

"The Blade Itself" by Joe Abercrombie. It's not horror, but it does get violent and very tense at certain times. It's also very witty which I thought you would appreciate it since your a Dexter fan.

999 is a visual novel but it's got really good plot and reading is its biggest part, only few (but improtant) choices and some puzzles you can beat with walkthrough. The story is worth it - it's really like a very good book ;)

House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski. Author turns the book itself into one giant mindf*** sometimes.

Try Serial Terror and Black Antler by Mark De Binder. I read them back to back and can't wait for the next one to come out!
