Is google chrome fast? I doesint do anything to me but I will do anything to get faster internet.

I think it's much faster than anything else except Firefox, and it's still faster.

It doesn't make your internet faster, it just processes the webpages faster. To make your internet faster you need more bandwidth.dk00111

My computer is very slow but Chrome does help in using the internet. So I say it is fast.

Chrome is faster, but Firefox is sturdier and has more features. Personally I use both. paradigm68

it is super fast. but sometimes downloading things is sometimes an issue. like the game battlefield heroes wont let u use chrome. but its nothing

At times I will just type the name of a website into the address bar, and even if I have never been to the site it will google search it as you type and suggest sites. Also, I love being able to highlight phrases and only having to right click and select search google.

Yep. It's one of the fastest browsers out there. It's also extremely lightweight and simple. I like that.

Yep, been using it since it was in beta and haven't used any other since :P.

I tried it out. At first it was fast and great. But then it randomly wouldn't load certain websites. The internet was working and it would load others, but it just gave me a message saying it couldn't open netflix at all. I tried firefox and bingo. Also, half the time gamespot wouldn't load correctly and it couldn't do picture resizing. So I gave up on it.

We see a lot of random threads in OT asking about Chrome in general or specific features in Chrome. We never see any threads like that for Firefox, Opera, Safari, or Internet Explorer. Threads that have to do with the aforementioned browsers usually revolve around a piece of news. I find this peculiar.

I don't like Opera. Speed isn't everything.

The main reason why I love Chrome is the UI. It's very lightweight, clean and simple.

Does gamespot go funny for you? It doesnt let me hover over the icons (you know, on the latest review box type thing?) and it doesnt come up with the recent news on the right

Really I have never had it crash... I do notice compatibility problems, but it has never crashed.
