For those of you who don't know, Google Chrome is Google's new web browser; the beta came out today... I'm using it right now and from what I've seen it's much faster and more efficient than FF3. It can even load IGN's website in under 5 seconds.

Is anyone else getting these kind of results too?

It seems to be faster for me but it kinda feels empty in terms of features.

I didn't see any major speed performance over Firefox. Although I didn't try it for too long, I'm waiting for the Linux version.

Its faster but lacks most of the features that make Firefox cool. I went back to Firefox after about 10 min.

Same here, but under the About its only version .2, lots of room and time for improvement.

The reason why there aren't many features is because it's still in beta. Plus it's meant to be a speed-browser not a luxury suite like firefox.

I know it's early days but I just can't use it for too long at the moment. I've got my beloved Firefox.

It's faster, but I don't like it.

With no Mouse 3 click and lazy scroll feature, it's not enough for me.

I haven't noticed any features missing from Firefox... that said, I don't use many plugins or things like that with Firefox. And yeah the lack of lazy scroll is irritating.

Way faster.

And people need to understand that this is the beta, not the final project.

I feel as if it's just marginally faster than Firefox.

I do like how it asks if you want to import settings from Firefox though, especially those bookmarks. It's just a first impression, but it seems to be decent enough.

Mouse wheel scrolling is not smooth at all, and the browser seems a bit to simple. It doesn't even let me open new tabs by double clicking. It's still pretty good though.

Well, yes - add-ons make up the perfect browser for me. Some of them I can't live without.

People are saying that Chrome is a bit faster than Firefox. Is it faster than Firefox with Adblock Plus, though?

I love the new browser. I hope they add lazy scroll, and change the colors of the scroll bar on the right though. I can never find where the actual bar is at.....
