It's called a "poor" interface not "clean" :PCrimsaderYou like one bagillion things? I dun like Firefox's for that reason. Though I got nothing against FireFox.
Chrome, I am a big fan. Switched from Firefox and haven't looked back.bluezySame here, Chrome is just awesome.
Yeah, I first used Mozilla than Chrome then back to Mozilla again after I formatted my computer a few months ago. Chrome is fast, but I like Mozilla's extra functions and also it's compatiability with Site Advisor.
I was reluctant to use this browser being an avid user of Safari/Firefox. I was recommended to it by a friend and wow am I glad I switched up. Its a very nice browser, very fast as well. Clean interface and easy to use.. I urge anyone who hasn't given it a chance to do so.
This leads me to my question, what browser do you use?

Chrome is very intuitive and simple to use. Internet Explorer started screwing up on me everytime I used it, so I made the switch for good now and I haven't regretted it for a moment. :)
[QUOTE="blackngold29"]I use Chrome and IE. Still a few things that Chrome doesn't do, like automatically scrolling down a page when you reload it, but the ease of search in the url bar is fantastic. Saves sooo much time.trubluahHow much time do you really spend typing google.com and then your search term? There's like one jpeg, text and the text box automatically takes focus for you to start typing right away... I mean, I agree its a nice feature and delivers ease of use... but I'm just sitting here thinking to myself "how much time does this person really save by not going to google.com?" 3 seconds? maybe 4? It's not only google, you can set it up so you can search amazon, wikipedia, lostpedia, imdb, whatever else the same way. Sure it isn't a lot of time, but it eliminates one or two page loads.
I use Opera 10.50 simply because it has the most features out of any browser upon installation and yet still manages to be the fastest. It's great.
I like Chrome because it doesn't operate as a single process. So, if something happens while I'm browsing, the whole browser won't shut down on me. There are some features that I would like to see improved, but Chrome has enough features for me to switch from Firefox.
Opera 10.5 grabs browser speed crown
Opera Launches Browser Faster than Chrome
Opera has always been known for its functionality, encompassing the most features of any browser upon installation. It has now, however, taken from Chrome the only thing that Chrome was known for, namely speed. Chrome has nothing on Opera.
Ugh..I can't wait for the official release for Mac, I tried the beta and loved it, but too damn buggy :POpera 10.5 grabs browser speed crown

Opera has been doing that for a while now. You can even have multiple search engines in the address bar as well as take search engines from other websites and use them in your address bar i.e. the GameSpot search engine.

Yeah, you keep saying it's the fastest, as does some other opera users i've seen promoting it's qualities, yet it is far from the fastest to me, and other people i know that have compared google chrome with opera.
From extremetech.com:
it's important to ask a few questions: loaded when, over what broadband speed, with what other apps running, on what machine?John_Brandon
Opera can be faster, note; can.
But according to almost every single test doing comparisons on the net that i've come across so far though? it generally isn't.
I like Fire Fox. Never heard of Opera until this thread so I might give it a shot.muller39
You should. Fastest browser out now and it has many features as standard for which I had to download several extensions in Firefox.

Do you work for Opera or something? Are they giving you money for these posts? What confuses you about i? :s[QUOTE="Darth-Caedus"][QUOTE="BiancaDK"]i use iron and chrome. i downloaded opera a few days back, tried it a bit, but it confuses me. =|BiancaDK
well, i downloaded it because i was told by several people that it is the fastest web-browser around, but i think it's roughly the same speed as firefox, which isn't slow, but still noticably slower than chrome and iron. Then i activated something called 'opera turbo', but i didn't feel any change at all. This lack of improvement on speed confuses me, especially since i have racked up no amount of history to speak of with it.
Then i figured i'd try and put some pages on speed-dial to see if it would reduce the loading speed, but look at it go.
just keeps loading and loading and loading... Never finishes. Basically, it's giving me a bit of fuss, where chrome has given me zero fuss, and with chrome still being a significantly faster surfing experience, i kinda' gave up on opera.
Edit: Also, when i go from one page to another in a thread, this emerges for slightly under half a second before it loads the actual page i'm going to.
all very charming. :P
Strange. Opera is noticeably faster than Chrome on my computer. I also added the Off-Topic Discussion to my speed dial with no difficulty. It's unfortunate to hear that you're having difficulties. You are using Opera 10.50 and not the beta or something, right?

Do you work for Conan O'Brien? Is he giving you money for having him in your sig? No? Then let's move on.

I have provided links. Here is another disproving your claim.
The...icon:? Your letting an icon (which you can change yourself) keep you away from something? :| I'm just being honest about something product package designers take advantage of in the real world. It's very simple: if your product doesn't look good, it won't sell as well. It's stupid, and I'm more than willing to admit so, but damn, something about that icon. Right Click >> Properties >> Change Icon Sroblem Polved.[QUOTE="Darth-Caedus"][QUOTE="RiskAverseStock"]
I don't use Opera because, quite literally, the icon is too repulsive for me. I guess I can't miss what I've never had.

I suppose it's just irritating to see crap like Internet Explorer have such high market share compared to the likes of Opera that innovates every time and yet possesses little market share due to general lack of knowledge on the existence of the browser. Opera Software is no Microsoft, Apple or Google.
