The reason that is, is because half of the time the pictures are all blurd and when you zoom in its all fuzzy...and then theres a block where theres a clear image....why is this? anyone get this?

It's satellite. Far away it's better but not so close up. What exactly do you want to see? In windows?

You should lower your standards. Google earth is freeware (except pro and plus)

Its because when you get in close enough to see buildings its all airial photography, and not everywhere has been photographed from the sky.

I would imagine it's about the satelite positioning, and maybe weather conditions....

Photography satellites orbits around earth at around 300 to 600 miles (480 to 970 km) and you complain about the quality?! I'd like to see you take a Nikon camera at that altitude and get better resolution. Besides, it takes alot of time to map an area the size of Washington, and it does cost so don't expect taking photos of Siberia or unimportant towns just like that.

You might want to look for spy satellites if you need to see license plates, and I guess that isn't as cheap as FREE Google Earth pictures.
