Gorillaz Plastic Beach?

What do you think of this album? I think it is the band's best by far. The concept of Gorillaz was always better than the actual music but Plastic Beach is their most consistant to date. I like the less hip hop focused songs like On Melancholy hill because they remind me of Damon Albarn's old and best band Blur. I also love the collaborations with Mark E. Smith, Gruff Rhys, and Lou reed.

I kinda lost interest after Demon Days.

It's my favorite Gorillaz album. I love the Hip Hop and Electro influence and just how every track is different. The tracks with Little Dragon are superb. White Flag is my favorite though. Arabian music and Grime? Brilliant. Toriko42

Even though I really like Gorillas I also would love to see Damon Albarn make a new Blur album.

I love the Gorillaz but Plastic Beach I can't get into. Gorillaz and Demon Days are damn good albums though.

Plastic Beach is their favorite album of mine. It took awhile to get used to it, but man is it awesome. Stylo and Empire Ants are just killer tracks.

Haven't heard that album yet, but my favorite song from them is El Manana :)

I do think it is their most consistent album, though as a result it doesn't have as many standout tracks as demon days and gorillaz.

Not as memorable as Demon Days but still an awesome album. I could listen to superfast jellyfish allllll day

Yeah, it's definitely an ace album. Not as good as their first, but better than Demon Days. Some kind of nature is my favourite track of the album, followed by To binge and Stylo.

Plastic Beach I would say is on par with Demons Days, and both are fantastic albums. The album kind of loses steam near the end, but it is still filled with ridiculously catchy songs and interesting lyrics. Stand-outs for me were Rhinestone Eyes, Superfast Jellyfish, On Melancholy Hill and Broken. Not a big fan of Stylo personally

Plastic beach and Melancholy hill is good but just like any other Gorillaz album I hate the rest of the songs.

Rhinestone Eyes, Empire Ants, Stylo, Superfast Jellyfish, and Glitter Freeze are all amazing.

Haven't really listened to the rest of the album. >_>

I really like it, "On Melancholy Hill" and "Some Kind of Nature" are my two favorite tracks on the album :D

I liked their self titled but Demon Days was such a let down that I never really had interest in Plastic Beach. I heard it earlier this week and was pretty blow away. One of my favorite albums to come out this year.

I just recently found out that Damon Albarn was thelead singer so I definitely haven't listened to them enough to form an opinion.
